Dress + Accessories: Heartfelt Vintage

We absolutely love it when the opportunity to work as an alternative wedding photographer with fellow creatives comes along, especially when it’s in our home town of Bristol.

When our lovely friend and talented stylist Julia reached out to us about putting together a styled shoot we jumped at the chance. We previously had the pleasure of working with Julia and her lovely husband Lukasz for their anniversary couple shoot in Clifton Village Bristol, which you can find here

Every year North St. Bedminster opens up its walls, shop fronts and pubs to hundreds of locals and visitors for UpFest – Europes largest street art + graffiti festival. With the artwork changing so frequently there is always something new to see and the talent is incredible – it’s definitely worth a visit! For this alternative wedding photography (styled shoot) we could think of no better place!

With a stunning vintage gown borrowed from Heartfelt Vintage, cool black leather jackets, a stunning floral crown + beautiful bouquet gifted by the lovely Dandy & the Lion, this rock’n’roll wedding shoot was officially ready to begin.

It wasn’t long until we found our first piece of graffiti. The colours, patterns and shapes made our creative minds explode with excitement! We can’t imagine how long it must take to create something so intricate. We could have spent all day wandering up and down the side streets hunting down the next piece of art but in true British style, the weather went from sunshine to gloom and eventually the heavens opened up on us – badly! We took shelter in a local laundrette whilst the owner laughed at how drenched we all were.

Natacha and Sebastian were so natural in front of the camera, they really were a pleasure to work with and we cant wait to work with them and Julia again in the near future.

Please scroll down and take a look through the photos, hopefully you’ll leave feeling inspired. If you’re local to Bristol definitely go check out the graffiti, there’s so much more to be seen (plus there are some great cafés along North Street). If you’re getting married in Bristol – get in touch to start planning something amazing!
