Clifton Observatory Wedding Photography
We’re thrilled to blog Arabella and Joshua’s Clifton Observatory wedding in Bristol. Sadly, covid caused them to postpone their Spring wedding, resulting in a much smaller guest list and a new wedding venue in Bristol. They were absolutely determined to go ahead with their micro wedding in Bristol before starting their married life together in London. After a few tense months of waiting to see if government restrictions around would allow them to go ahead with their plans, they were married on the most beautiful summers day.
Micro Wedding in Bristol
Arabella and Joshua chose to follow traditions and get ready separately. Arabella found the perfect AirBnB rental to get ready with views overlooking Victoria Square in Clifton, just a short walk away from Clifton Village.
Arabella wore a lace Watters wedding dress bought from Abbey Brides bridal store from her hometown in Dorset. She delicately customised her wedding dress, adding beading for that extra sparkle. Bridesmaids wore mauve full length dresses from ASOS, perfectly complimenting the purple and white bouquets and wedding flowers.
Joshua and his groomsmen got ready at Bristol Marriott Hotel. Located at the bottom of Park Street it boasts modern interior, in a central Bristol location, it’s an ideal getting ready venue in Bristol.
Intimate Ceremony at Christ Church in Clifton
Having met whilst studying at Bristol University, Clifton was the perfect place to host their wedding. A place that will continue to hold beautiful memories and be a special place for them. After an intimate ceremony at Christ Church in Clifton, Arabella and Joshua jumped in the back of a renovated vintage Jeep and took a drive around Clifton as Mr & Mrs.
We met Arabella and Joshua back in Clifton Village for some wedding photos of the two of them. It was such a gorgeous warm summers day. Victoria Park was full of people sunbathing and enjoying a picnic in the sunshine, something we’ve definitely enjoyed in the past. We avoided the crowds and went for a walk along the quieter streets. With the bride and groom neatly tucked in the wedding car, along with the videographer, we gave the Jeep a push start and waved them off!
Clifton Observatory Wedding Venue
Arabella and Joshua chose to celebrate with their friends and family at Clifton Observatory in Bristol. With fantastic uninterrupted views of the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, Clifton Observatory is one of the best wedding venues in Bristol. One of the highlights is definitely the rooftop terrace. Arabella and Joshua took full advantage of the views with a romantic first dance on the rooftop, under a pink sky as the sun set.
