This Clifton Village Wedding celebration in Bristol was pure Autumn magic. There’s just something about the changing colours of Autumn against the creamy stone walls in Clifton that is so beautiful!
We met up with Julia + Lukasz on a sleepy Sunday morning and set off into the heart of Clifton. Shooting in our favourite city at our favourite time of year, with such friendly kind hearted souls is definitely the way we’d love to spend our Sundays going forward!
We walked through Victoria Square under the falling leaves and into Clifton Village. It was before the usual hustle and bustle and rush to get a decent brunch. The streets were quiet and still, so we were able to stop and appreciate our surroundings. Julia even brought a flask of tea for us all to share, what a babe!
We continued to wander around the beautiful cobbled paths whilst admiring the stunning Georgian architecture that Clifton is known for. We made our way towards the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge and even though we’ve been there what feels like 1000 times, it still amazes us. The view looking out across the gorge is pretty special in any weather or season, definitely worth a visit on any trip into Bristol.
Once we’d wrapped up we joined the flocks of locals and went to a local cafe for coffee and brunch, what a way to finish such a fun morning!
Julia is a local stylist passionate about supporting local talent and promoting recycled and vintage fashion. She got in contact with some lovely local creative businesses to find her perfect outfit. Her headpiece and accessories are by the lovely Able Mabel Designs from Heartfelt Vintage. The stunning bouquet and buttonhole made up of gorgeous rusty, earthy tones from Dandy and The Lion.
Julia + Lukasz have a beautiful connection and wanted to celebrate their wedding anniversary in a place that was so special to the both of them. 5 years previously, they had eloped and were married on a trip to Barcelona. Looking back they are so happy with their decision to elope, but were sad not to have photographs of their day. They booked us for this Clifton Village Wedding celebration to help remember this time in their lives.
