Elmore Court Wedding Photographer
As Bethany & Ravi’s Elmore Court wedding photographer for their beautiful Indian fusion wedding, we had such a beautiful day! From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by friends and family with such kindness and excitement for the day ahead. Elmore Court is a beautiful and unique venue winning multiple awards in weddings and events throughout Gloucestershire. Originally a 13th century home, it was later opened in 2013 by the same family for others to enjoy.
We began the morning with Ravi getting ready in his traditional Sherwani and turban that his father had worn at his own wedding. Beth was beautifully covered in henna and with the help of her bridesmaids got ready in a traditional Saree at Elmore Court’s stunning Coach House. Guests stood in awe as Ravi arrived at the front gates on a majestic white horse. Traditional dhol drums were then played as guests danced their way to the ceremony.
After a wonderful 20 step Hindu ceremony guests were treated to an Indian lunch catered by Shivam Events. Ravi was chased around the grounds by the bridesmaids who were after his shoes. Ravi had to pay them £20 to get his shoes back! We took some beautiful portraits of Beth and Ravi around the grounds in their traditional clothes.
It was then time to prepare for the second ceremony of the day. Together with his groomsmen Ravi got dressed in a classic navy Reiss 3-piece suit in Elmore Court’s ‘Smoking Room’. Beth and her girls got ready in the beautifully decorated Master Suite on the top floor. Nude and blush bridesmaid gowns complimented Beth’s elegant Maggie Sottero dress perfectly.
Soft golden light poured through the windows of the Main Hall as Ravi and his guests awaited Beth’s arrival. After an emotional civil ceremony and a confetti tunnel outside we took a walk through the grounds as the sun set. The evening was later filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter and tears as close friends and family shared their stories of this beautiful couple with one another. Beth had been patiently waiting to let loose on the dance floor and she did just that!
Big thanks to Beth and Ravi for allowing us to capture such a beautiful day, along with the team at Elmore Court for being so welcoming.
