Travel
How many hours do we need?

We currently offer 2 packages, a half day and full day. A full day covers bridal prep to 30 minutes after the first dance when guests begin to loosen up on the dancefloor.
If you’ve got a formal exit planned for later in the evening (e.g. sparklers) you may wish to add additional hours onto your package.

We find that most couples select the full day as they'd like all the details documented from the day, and let's face it, no wedding is ever on time!

Do you photograph weddings with a second photographer?

Yes! We (Jack + Jade) attend every wedding together.

*There is no additional charge for a second shooter.

Can I see a full gallery of your work?

YES YES YES. We’d love to show you more! Check out our blog for full-day coverage of our featured weddings, from bridal prep to throwing shapes on the dance floor. It will give you a really good idea of what to expect from us, if you want to see anything specific please get in touch via our contact form.

Can we meet before the wedding day?

We want to make sure that you feel comfortable having us around on such a monumental day in your life. Establishing a great connection with you both is so important to being able to capture amazing photographs, so having some sort of contact beyond email is essential before your wedding day.

How do we book?

To reserve your date, we simply need a signed contract and 25% non-refundable deposit. If your wedding requires travel, we will also need the expenses paid at the time of booking to ensure travel costs are as quoted. Unfortunately, we cannot hold any dates without the signed contract, deposit, and any travel fees.

What is your payment schedule?

25% deposit + travel costs are due at the time of booking and the final balance is due 1 calendar month before the event date.

Do you make custom packages?

Our packages are base rates with the ability to add on extra hours, products, etc. Most events that we photograph end up with a custom package of some sort.

What are your prices?

We offer a variety of packages to best suit your day. Please get in touch via our contact form for a detailed breakdown of our prices for 2018/19.

What is your turnaround time?

It all depends on the season, but 6-8 weeks is typical.

Who owns the copyright?

While we retain the copyright of the images from your wedding day, my contract gives personal print and media permissions to my clients for any non-commercial usage. If you have any concerns about privacy, please let us know.

What resolution are they delivered in?

We always deliver photographs in the maximum resolution available after processing and cropping. This means that most are approximately 15 megapixels or over. More than enough for most print projects.

How will we receive the photographs?

Every couple has a password protected online gallery that you can reference and share with family/friends. Each couple receives a USB drive and a bundle of prints delivered in a beautiful, hinged wooden keepsake box. Additional USB’s/Boxes can be purchased for friends and family for an additional cost.

What is the album process like?

After your photos have been delivered, we'd love your help in selecting photos to include in your album. Things like family groupings and cover materials are always impossible for us to decide for you. Once you’ve made your selection, we'll curate the album and send it over to you for approval before submitting the order to the lab. From there, it takes the lab around 4-6 weeks to create and get back to us.

Where are you based?

We are currently based in the quirky city of Bristol, UK. We found ourselves here after an impulse weekend away a few years ago. We completely fell in love with the whole area and instantly began planning to move.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! Anywhere from 90% of our work every year comes from outside of the Bristol area. Travel has always been a big part of our lives. It was through travel that we discovered a love for documenting the incredible landscapes and telling the story through photography. We’ve been lucky enough to photograph weddings all over the UK (including London, Devon and the Midlands) with upcoming weddings in New Zealand and Canada.

How many nights accommodation do you need?

We always prefer to leave plenty of time to arrive for the event in case there are travel delays. For this reason, if your location is over a 1 hour drive from Bristol we require a minimum of 1-nights accommodation.

Between 1-3 hours drive from Bristol = 1 night

Over 3 hours drive from Bristol = 2 nights

International locations = 3/4 nights

What are your travel rates?

All travel rates are based on travel from Bristol, UK. Depending on the destination this could include flights, taxi, train, rental car, and accommodation. We calculate these individual costs at the time of booking. Please get in touch for an accurate quote.
