We had so much fun documenting this rustic wedding in Gloucestershire. We first met Peter and Kristina whilst shooting Peter’s sister’s wedding back in 2015. They fell in love with our style and we equally fell in love with them! Peter + Kristina are two of the nicest people you could ever meet, we now consider them great friends who continue to inspire us on a daily basis.
The morning began in a gorgeous house in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, where Kristina had been lodging with friends. Crisp morning light filled the large open room as the girls started their hair and makeup. With the help of her mother, who flew over from Belarus, Kristina changed into a stunning soft pink full A-line wedding gown, with a bow around her waist.
Peter kept his nerves at bay as guests poured into the Holy Innocents Church. As Kristina appeared at the end of the aisle, emotions could no longer be contained and happy tears flooded through the crowd, we were welling up ourselves! Shortly after the ceremony everyone filtered into the garden where guests excitedly congratulated the happy couple.
Once people began to leave, we made the most of the stunning church grounds before the rain came! They were giddy with love, smiles beamed across their faces and excitement buzzing through their bodies.
Peter + Kristina hired a mint green vintage VW Campervan to travel to the reception venue in style. We secretly thought about stealing it, it was so pretty!
The reception was held at the TRAC Adventure Centre where the vision for the day had been executed brilliantly by florist Anna Svensson. Lush green foliage hung from the metal structure like vines in a jungle. Warm fairly lights gave the whole room the perfect romantic glow. Each guest had a miniature gift relating to the couples travels. It was stunning!
This was definitely one of those weddings where the guests fully let loose when the dancefloor is open for business! There were people doing front flips, dance-offs, a 40 person congo-line, endless funky shapes and moves. This was a party to remember!
