This Hackney Town Hall wedding saw Kate and Fraser celebrate over two days in East London with their loved ones. The first, an intimate ceremony at Hackney Town Hall followed by a huge party at London Fields Brewery, tucked away beneath the graffiti covered arches.
On the second day Kate got ready with the help of her friends and family at the couples beautifully decorated home in London. The morning was filled with laugher and prosecco and the mother of the bride carefully made the final touches to the cake. Kate looked stunning in a bespoke golden silk gown, with delicate crystal details and electric blue shoes to match. She worked alongside talented designer Katrine Mikkelsen to design her perfect dress.
The groom and his best men effortlessly oozed style, Frazer wearing a traditional blue marl three-piece suit. Kate surprised Fraser with a beautiful hand-written note and thoughtful gift. The smile on his face was a permanent fixture for the rest of the day!
With the help of a close friend initiating the ceremony, they were later married amongst their nearest and dearest. Inviting their friends and family to celebrate the occasion, it was important to Kate and Fraser that the day began and ended as a party.
The couple unleashed smoke grenades during their portrait session engulfing them in a mist of pinks and reds, perfectly complimenting the quirky graffiti adorned brick walls of East London. It was great to be playful and creative!
Speeches were hilarious and endearing. Kate’s mother even gave a surprise speech. She introduced a hilarious game of ‘Mr or Mrs’ where the bride + groom had to raise the shoe of the person they thought most accurately applied to the statement- everyone was in fits of laughter!
As the evening progressed, drinks were flowing and the party started! Everyone gathered in a circle around Kate + Fraser as they struck a pose for their first dance. A burst of confetti then exploded into the air and the party had officially started. The guests were then treated to the famous Ceilidh dance led by Climax Ceilidh Band and the room became alive as absolutely everyone took to the dance floor. During the intermission the guests poured outside to enjoy Deeneys, the locally prepared traditional haggis and cheese toasties, refuelling them for the all-night party ahead.
