The Crown Inn Wedding in Amersham
This celebration at The Crown Inn wedding in Amersham is abundant with beautiful and thoughtful details from start to finish. Becky and Josh along with their closest friends got ready together in a beautiful house bursting with character on the village High Street in Amersham, just a 5 minute walk away from St. Mary’s Church where they were later married.
The morning began peacefully as the sky lingered in dark blue hues as heavy rain tapped the windows. With cups of tea and prosecco in hand, the bridal party began preparing for the day ahead, on separate floors of the house.
Becky looked incredible in a contemporary lace Rime Arodaky gown, with personalised jewellery and blue sparkly-heeled shoes. The bridesmaids all wore crystal embroidered dresses in different pastel shades by Needle + Thread, with metallic heels and a contrasting beaded clutch bag. Josh chose to wear a modern, brown tweed 3-piece wool suit, complimented by his groomsmen in varying neutral shades.
Each and every detail was hand picked and carefully crafted by the talented couple and their friends and family. Becky and her bridesmaids’ put together the beautiful succulent centrepieces during the hen do and the impressive 3-tiered naked cake was made by talented friend Kirsty, perfect for their countryside village wedding.
An intimate meal where emotional stories were shared about the bride and groom and their incredible journey over their 10 years together, followed by an afternoon of drinking and chatting under the beams of historic pub The Crown Inn, Amersham.
Josh + Becky were effortlessly confident as we took their portraits around the local grounds during golden hour. The evening was later filled with an abundance of laughter and the occasional happy tear. The night came to an end as everyone gathered in the courtyard for an impressive first dance under the stars.
Since this heart-warming day has past, we regularly make the trip to London and catch up with these gorgeous people. The Crown Inn wedding in Amersham was an absolute pleasure to photograph and we can’t wait to visit this beautiful slice of the world again soon.
