Tithe Barn Bolton Abbey wedding in Yorkshire
This Tithe Barn Bolton Abbey wedding in Yorkshire was one of our favourite’s from the summer. The weather was outrageously gorgeous and we had so much fun with Nadine + Steve, who spent their entire day giggling away and were an absolute pleasure to be around.
The day started out at The Devonshire Arms, only a short drive away from their Yorkshire Venue. The boys nervously got ready downstairs, whilst ensuring they downed a pint or three before leaving. Steve wore a 3-piece suit in a soft blue, which was perfectly complimented by his son in a light grey suit and pink tie. Meanwhile the girls laughed loudly, sipped on champagne and shared stories of times passed whilst they got ready upstairs.
As a talented Make-up Artist herself, Nadine chose to do her own hair and make-up. She took few minutes to herself to calmly get ready and prepare for the best day of her life. Nadine looked so elegant and feminine in a stunning fitted Suzanne Neville gown bought from the team at Baildon Bridal Boutique. She wore a statement hairpiece from Victoria Walker Boutique, which perfectly complimented the delicate sparkly embellishment around the waistline of her dress. The pop of pink from the bouquet by the talented Emma The Florist matched the Mother of the bride and added a bit of fun to this stylish summer wedding.
The ceremony and reception was held in a 16th century barn that has been beautifully converted into a unique and modern space but the wonderful Cripps & Co team. The Tithe Barn Bolton Abbey is one of their eight stunning barn conversions across the country.
Emotions ran high, tears of joy and laughter all throughout the service. The celebrant was a close friend of Nadine’s family and made the ceremony incredibly personal and special. Confetti was thrown, champagne was poured and the party started. The whole day was fun and giggles as they celebrated with their guests.
As the sun began to set, we wandered down to Bolton Abbey where we practically had the whole place to ourselves. This is always our favourite part of any wedding. The first slice of privacy as husband and wife, a few quiet moments away from the crowds and a time to relax and enjoy each other.
We joined their guests for a first dance in candle light. Following an emotional dance, the incredible Jenna + the G’s got the party going where the drinks were flowing and the floor was full all night!
